Whispered

Whispered interpreting, also known as chuchotage, is a common solution when there is only one person who requires interpreting. The interpreter sits next to this person and, in a low voice, translates what is being said in the room exclusively for him or her. The interpretation is therefore simultaneous, but no technical equipment is required. The use of this technique is usually restricted to short sessions.
